Dr. Ya Jie (Jessica) Sun graduated from Beijing University with her Medical Degree and did her fellowship in Beijing Oriental MedicineUniversity. She practiced as an OB/GYN in University Hospital of Beijing. She earned her MD-PhD in Japan University and practiced as an OB/GYN at St. Margaret’s Hospital, Tokyo.
She is a pioneer in combining Chinese Medicine with Western Medicine for complicated infertility medical cases involving acupuncture and in-vitro fertilization. Her techniques have been successfully used to bring children to parents who were otherwise unable to conceive. Currently she is a professor of Oriental Medicine at Samra University, in Los Angeles, where she teaches herbal medicine and acupuncture.
She specializes in infertility, post-menopausal hormonal balance, cosmetic acupuncture and acupuncture for pain management. She lives in the San Gabriel Valley with her husband and her young daughter. She is a respected female leader in the Southland Asian community.
