Safe and Effective Acupuncture Treatment at ChiroPainCare Center

Acupuncture is an essential part of Conservative Pain Management in ChiroPainCare Center

Acupuncture is a therapeutic modality of Chinese Medicine that has been used successfully all over the world for thousands of years. Today, acupuncture is widely used in integrative health care settings, hospitals, general health practices, sports medicine and rehabilitation centers. At your visit, the Licensed Acupuncturist or Oriental Medical Doctor will take a thorough health history to include both your past and present health concerns, conduct an examination if necessary and develop the best acupuncture treatment plan for your specific needs.

Moving Beyond Neck and Back Pain Management

Most commonly recognized in the United States for pain management, The World Health Organization recognizes acupuncture as one of the most effective treatments available for back pain. Almost all pain concerns such as those related to injury, neck pain and headaches are effectively treated. Other health benefits from this modality include improved relaxation and sleep patterns, improved sports performance, recovery from injury, relief of digestive concerns, heightened concentration and focus, hormonal health balancing and much more.

Because acupuncture works by establishing communication between the nervous system and rest of the body, this evidence-based treatment is an excellent complement to Conservative Pain Management protocols. Both Chiropractic and Acupuncture care are considered modalities of integrative medicine and are essential parts of Conservative Pain Management. This means that both work together to accentuate your whole health progress. It is not uncommon after your initial visit for acupuncture, that we will discuss the best treatment options to bring you closer to reaching your wellness goals.

You are likely wondering what to expect with acupuncture. The Licensed Acupuncturist or Oriental Medical Doctor will gently insert hair-thin, sterile, single-use needles into the skin. While some patients report a warm sensation or a dull achy response, acupuncture needles are painless- even children say so! Once inserted, you’ll comfortably rest for approximately 30-60 minutes depending on your health concern.
